Our story
After working in top salons from London to Perth, we started Alternative Hair Colour Studio in 2021. We brought together international stylists from the UK and local Perth talent to create something different.
We believe:
- Hair is how you express yourself, not something with rules
- You don't need to follow trends
- Everyone deserves to be understood, not just styled
- Gender-neutral pricing is basic respect
- Colour is the main event, not an extra
- Hair health matters, no matter what style you choose
So we built a studio where:
- Being yourself isn't special—it's normal
- Stylists are skilled, not rushed
- You don't need to justify wanting to feel good
We focus on what you want through proper consultation and taking time to understand your needs.
